how hard is it and how long does it take to learn guitar as an adult?
Im totally in love with music, mostly rock and metal. I really want to learn how to play guitar. I'm 24. I tried once when I was 23 and I took lessons from May to December and learned all the strings and an agreement. Not much. (my guitar teacher was forgetful and taught me the same things over and over again). I want to try again, and get a DVD or something and teach myself, but it is difficult for an adult to learn an instrument? How long will it take to get really good when I practice every night?. Also. My Super Sweet guitar teacher told me I had fat fingers and that would make it harder. Although his fingers were about two times the size of my so that I proved that its feasible even with fat fingers.
How long it will last depends on many things that nobody can answer, but You practice hard and have a natural talent, you can get a decent sound goes very quickly. It takes time for the fingers to get used to the strings, but within a months you should be able to play a few songs and some knowledge of the instrument.
