What is the best DVD tutorial only teaches classical guitar?
Does anyone know of an educational program on DVD that teaches classical guitar and any other style. Give as much information as there is no market, maybe one person. What do you think?
If you are a beginner I think Basic Classical Guitar Method 1 (Book & DVD) by Scott Tennant would be a good choice. I did not own this book / DVD (I have his book Pumping Nylon / DVD), but if you look at the table of contents, he starts with the basics. I think the rest of his method book and CD series. I've been Pumping Nylon Book / DVD because I am a visual demonstration on the proper techniques needed classical (rest stroke, freestyle, Tremolo, etc.). I think Scott's teaching style. It gives simple, easy explanation and there are many close-ups of his hands. I do not think his Basic Classical Guitar DVD would otherwise be. Unfortunately, there are very few classical guitar instructional dvd. They usually book / CD combinations. I think they are great if you have the basics down. Books by Aaron I think Shearer is another good source, but no DVD! : O (
