Mauro Giuliani is seen as one of the leading guitar virtuosos of the early 19th century and his pieces still influence musicians both established and learning guitar today. Although he The training started on the cello, once Giuliani picked up the guitar, he found himself dedicated to the fast and established itself as a top performer.
Through its use and work with the guitar, Giuliani helped to define a new role for the guitar in the European music. With its associations with Rossini and Beethoven, he often along with their concerts in Vienna. Thanks his talents, he was very prominent in the city of Vienna and played cello in Beethoven's Seventh Symphony when it was played for the first time in 1813.
Giuliani was everywhere, was he praised for his musical ability and genius. He started his own classical compositions to be published in 1807, winning Acclaim. One of the most popular versions of the music in Vienna during his time was the theme and variations. Giuliani was an expert in this kind of music through his innate ability to weave a melody in a piece of music during a stay loyalty to the instrument through which the music was played.
